About Taylor Cohen

Taylor Cohen joins Terry Cohen and the Hamptons team at Compass with a multidisciplinary background spanning finance, hospitality, and real estate development. She began her career in finance before moving into luxury travel with National Geographic Expeditions, and went on to lead a hands-on hospitality and real estate development project in the Catskills, gaining a ground-up understanding of what it takes to bring a property from vision to finished asset.
Throughout her career, Taylor has had a front-row seat to the Hamptons market through her mother, Terry Cohen, one of the East End's most respected brokers with more than $3 billion in closed sales. Working alongside Terry, Taylor developed an intimate understanding of the business, from pricing strategy and marketing to client relationships and the nuances that define each Hamptons hamlet. That foundation, combined with her own experience as a developer and operator, gives her a well-rounded perspective she now brings directly to her clients.
After a decade in New York City, Taylor splits her time between the Hamptons and Hudson, NY. Outside of work, she can be found skiing, playing tennis and pickleball, surfing, or spending time across the Hudson Valley, Catskills, and East End.
